About

Volunteer Oxford is a student-driven departmental organization at Oxford College of Emory University housed in the Office of Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions. We expose students to community assets and needs by providing diverse opportunities for impactful service through recurring opportunities, special events, and resources. We help members of the Oxford College community connect to agencies in Newton County and surrounding areas. We have built strong relationships with different community partners, including local schools, food pantries, city councils, and other non-profits.

Volunteer Oxford is comprised of 4 paid coordinators (VOCs) and 12 volunteer project coordinators. VO has five sectors that offer a variety of student engagement opportunities:
- Days of Service
- Weekly Service Trips
- Service Saturdays
- Learn & Serve
- Alternative Breaks
