Hollis STEAM

Hollis STEAM connects Emory students with elementary students at Hollis Innovation Academy through hands-on, age-appropriate STEAM learning developed in collaboration with Dr. Eri Saikawa’s lab. Emory students help facilitate interdisciplinary lessons that blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through topics such as environmental science, air quality, renewable energy, water, soil, and environmental justice. Activities incorporate creative expression, design, storytelling, and visual learning alongside scientific inquiry and problem-solving to make complex concepts engaging and accessible.
